Not bad but a bit disappointing. Not nearly as good as Ross sugar-free chocolates which feature good quality Belgian chocolate. M-m-m-m-m . . .

Both products are sweetened with maltitol, a low-glycemic index sugar alcohol. 13 g total carbs in a 25 g serving (Carb Safe) BUT all the fat content of regular chocolate since it is made with the same amount of cocoa butter. It wouldn't be chocolate without it but you are not going to lose weight eating this stuff. :) Just reduce empty sugar calories. Should be safe for diabetics like me.

I will suggest the Ross product to the stores in my area. That way I can save the postage and get them any time I want.

Loved the taste--thought I had found a great alternative to the real thing. Took me a few times to figure out it was causing digestive disturbances:(

The taste was okay, but the gritty coarse texture is what really put me off this chocolate. I've been too spoiled by the three-packs of imported Belgian Dark Chocolate which are superior in every way to this product (except for the sugar content)!

I disagree with tthe comments below, I lOVE this chocolate! I buy it at least once a month and my boyfriend and I devour it. It's sweet enough but not too sweet and the sugar free part makes me feel less guilty if I eat the whole thing =)
I really enjoy the dark chocolate version of this product. The milk chocolate is far too sweet for me. It's normal for sugar alcohol products to give some people issues with digestion (read the package). Just start out slow. I disagree with the grainy comment, never anything but smooth chocolate in my experience.
I'm astounded how good both the milk and the dark chocolate is. This is the treat that I was searching for that allowed me to really live a lo-carb lifestyle and still indulge (just a piece or two- so no repurcussions others have pointed out!) a couple times a day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Comments:

I am very disappointed to learn that you have stopped
carrying Carb Safe Low Effective Carb & Sugar Free DARK chocolate bars.
My local store customer service told me they were discontinued for lack
of sales.

What you should do instead is discontinue the MILK chocolate bars by
Carb Safe and retain the DARK chocolate bars.

Every time I would go in to buy them I always had to look to find them because almost all the bars you had out for sale were the milk chocolate.

Please reconsider and put back Carb Safe dark chocolate. It's the best
low carb chocolate around.

Thank you for reading.
