Valrhona Noir Amer 71%
(7 votes)Rate this listing
This is about as intense as chocolate gets while remaining edible. Compared to the other chocolate bars in the 70% range, such as Villiars and Scharffen Berger, the Valrhona has more intensity. Not as smooth as the Villars, but more of a punch. The Valrhona also hits you immediately, while the Scharffen Berger creeps up on you.
One small piece can last you for hours. The ultimate bar chocolate experience.

This is great stuff and TJ's has the best price. I buy a couple/few bars at a time and keep some at work and some at home. It's great in the middle of the day when you need a little pick me up or in the evening with a glass of red wine. So intense that all you need is a square or two and you're good to go.
