Chicken Lasagna
(32 votes)Rate this listing
A great idea, especially on a cold, winter day. The sauce is nice and tangy, and the cheese light and fluffy, the way I like it. The chicken is plentiful and of good quality.
Lasagna, being a more complex food, with all the different and varied ingredients, needs special attention to balance all the flavors and textures. This lasagna definitely harmonizes. I ate half of the 2lb lasagna, and refirgerated the rest for later. I thought it was excellent as leftovers too.
Definitely try it.

If you're too lasagna-impaired to make your own, this is a great alternative. Pop it in the MW for six minutes and you're all set. Question: whatever happened to TJ's sausage lasagna in the deli section?

It's a good lasagna, but I actually prefer densely, cheesier lasagnas. The sauce is tasty, but I like gooey, heavy cheese rather than the fluffly cheese sauce. Also, the chicken is minced and personally, I would prefer shredded.
It is worth a try though to see if you like it.

Cubes of chicken were a little bland and need seasoning. Needs mozzarella for optimal gooeyness, not just ricotta.

Its a great Price and its well made.
Whats interesting about Lasagna is that there are very many different ways of makeing it depending on personal taste and how we were raised.
For some its a traditional Italian Style , for some its commerical produced in those huge containers at the market that feed 30.
But I would suggest you look at this variation on its on. I would say that its good but maybe not what some would think of as Homemade because its a different take on the recipe.

In the microwave, it turns out a bit runny. I wont buy it again.
