Gnocchi al Gorgonzola
Oh. My. God. This is almost as yummy as my favorite dish at my favorite San Francisco Italian restaurant. It's ridiculously easy to make--a few minutes in an olive-oiled skillet. I've even thrown in some spinach and prosciutto for a fabulous seemingly-homemade dinner for guests. The package supposedly serves four, but is actually two VERY small portions. So, so good.

This gnocchi is to die for. It is so easy to prepare and so, so good. One bag will serve 2 people generously - it's great with seafood or almost any kind of meat. YUM!!!!!

This stuff is simply decliciouis, and I'm a cheese snob. A big bowl of this, with fresh cracked pepper, is the stuff that will cure you when you are feeling cranky, or the rain is coming down, or it's cold outside. Rich and decadant, and monkey simple to make.

the sauce is wonderful but could we please have it on plain fettucini or other pasta besides gnocchi?
This gnocchi is to die for. Soft pillows of gnocchi bathed in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. So easy to prepare and ready in minutes. I found that one package serves 2 quite generously. A must for your shopping list.
Other than the strong flavor of gorgonzola, I thought these were bland and a bit gummy.
Okay good sause but the gnocchi were really good , strong suggest to try , just dont over cook them :)
Yes, indeed they are. Little cream covered squishies. The gorgon taste is slight... like a moonbeam on a baby's bottom.

Squishy, delicate, and oh so delish! I'll have the bag all to myself.

Party of two?? ITHINK NOT!

I absolutely LOVE this! The only problem is, if I make it, I eat the whole bag myself.
I found the best thing is to use less of the frozen cheese discs when cooking. I agree with another poster who said do NOT overcook these! Watch the cooking time.
I love this stuff. Served it with home made chicken picatta and it made a fabulous side dish. Pretty fatty; save for special occasions.

I've banned myself from this for awhile since I've eaten the whole bag by myself now twice! It's like a perfect glass of wine. Grind some fresh pepper over it and serve with some crusty bread and a baby greens salad...oh, and some great wine.
These are delicious! Everytime I go they seem to be out of them. So sad.
They are really rich and tasty. I add frozen peas and some crushed black pepper. I miss these...

On a lucky day, I got a sample of this at the store and it was soooo good. Of course, my local store is always out of them. At least we don't have to worry about them discontinuing it.

My 3 year old loves these and exclaims "Gnocchios!" whenever I make them...I add some frozen peas to make a more well rounded meal!

My kids thought it was weird tasting but my husband and I liked it.

So. So. GOOD. I didn't think I like gorgonzola OR gnocchi. But there was a sample one day at the store and I tried. WOW. One of the best things I've ever tasted. Very rich though, I think it says 4 servings because it's intended as a side dish. I eat about half of it in one sitting and save the rest for later. I especially love the little brown bits that get on the bottom of the pan. Mmmm...buy it. I promise you'll like it.

Very easy and delicious! I agree that these need a good helping of black pepper and be careful not to overcook, though I had no problems with that. They were just the best. I don't think I'll ever visit TJ's and not pick up a few bags of these. I do think that these are addictive. I crave them all the time now. HA

Yes, these are the best ever, but so rich that I only buy them on occasion. I like to top with chopped fresh hot house tomatoes and sauteed garlic and cremini mushrooms. Add a salad, some red wine, and a baguette and you have an elegant weekday dinner for two. Even easier if you use the microwave method, which prevents over cooking. Bon Appetit!
I love these, when it's just my spouse and I, I add a little vodka sauce and it's wonderful. When it's a bigger group I take a bag of these and a bag of the gnocchi sorrento and mix them together. Very tasty!
