Mandarin Orange Chicken
(227 votes)Rate this listing
One of TJ's all-time greats. As good or better than most Chinese restaurants. The orange sauce is not sweet like many cheaper versions and the chicken is tender with a crispy breading.
Just put it in the oven for 18 minutes, microwave the sauce, combine and you're ready. Makes great leftovers too.

I made these in the oven and served them with the frozen jasnim rice and I thought it was really good. Much better then take out and cheeper.

I microwaved the sauce and cooked the chicken in the oven. Combined the two and served immediately over TJ's Basmatic Rice. Will buy and do again for a quick Sunday evening supper. Better than our fave Chinese restaurant.

I mad the entire package and was surprised at the amount that came out.We ate this for two days.It does need a little doctoring up..maybe a little sweet chili sauce?

A good dish. We heat it in the oven so that it always comes out crispy. Tastes the same as take out.
Good Good Good All around!!!
Perfect over white rice. I used to buy your Jasmine Rice (so Good) but you discontinued it :(

Chel and I like this for a quick "out of the freezer" Chinese dish. Since we first made it, we realized we needed to add something extra. So, we usually use our rice-cooker to make rice, and throw ontop (in the steamer portion) some carrots and broccoli. When it's all done, mix it up for a great quick meal.
(BTW we love authentic Chinese restaurants, and have to admit this really isn't authentic, or at least not as good, but we do find it to be one of the best for frozen dishes.)

I didn't care much for the mandarin orange sauce, but I found I enjoyed eating the chicken without the sauce. Makes a nice snack.
