Spanish White Beans with Vegetables
A Spanish stew of white beans in a traditional "Sofrito" tomato sauce. A product of Spain. Very mild tasting white beans in a savory sauce with pieces of red and green pepper. Approx. two servings in a microwave safe container. Four grams of fat per serving.

I`ve tried these, and they are pretty good, but I dont quite like the taste. The "vegetables" consist of no more than overcooked red and green peppers.I think the spanish lentils are better. They also feature overcooked red and green peppers, but the lentils are tastier.

I agree with goofus. The vegetables are just flecks of overcooked peppers. I get a tastier dish just opening a can of TJ's white beans and adding some spices and heating. It's not more complicated than that, and the "convenience factor" of this box doesn't carry the day. This won't be a repeat purchase for me.

I like to serve this with sweet sausage and rice.

I served them over some steamed veggies. While it was good, I agree with another reviewer that spicing up my own can of white beans as I usually do and adding to my veggies or soups is maybe a bit better as its not as oily.

Maybe I just found it annoying that its advertised as "with vegetables" when really the bits of pimento is more part of the seasoning.
