Tuna in Green Curry Sauce
(18 votes)Rate this listing
Not sure why this isn't already on the website. This is probably my favorite thing at Trader Joe's right now. SOOOO good! I don't have a Trader Joe's anywhere in my state but I work alot in a state where there is one, so last week I brought home 7 packages of this (had to leave 2 on the shelf for someone else...good karma). This is so good just heated up on some brown rice. So good and just the right amount of heat. I saw that someone had reviewed this as said that the tuna was tough? I have never found the tuna to be tough and actually find the tuna very good quality tuna (yellowfin tuna..hello?) I will buy this stuff everytime I am at Trader Joe's (by orders from my wife as well).

Try the Red and Yellow versions as well. I microwave the frozen broccoli, mixed bell peppers, or snow peas and add it in.

I love all the tree versions of the thai tuna curry. Have them quite often
Very tasty :)
However, the package suggests using it for a sandwich, but I found it to have WAY too much liquid for this purpose on regular bread....I'm pretty sure even "hearty" bread would have been overwhelmed.

That goes for me too! It's June 2008 and I have for months been enjoying all the TJ's Yellowfin Curry sauces (Green is my favorite, yellow and panang/red, too). I cannot find it any more. One of three stores says they are not suppose to order it anymore and one has just removed the shelf space where stock should go. Help! I just sent a request to TJ's product dept asking for them to bring it back. It's not like there is a competitor brand out there. I never thought it would disappear. (I did think with the sauces' popularity that it might be pricier but never discontinued.) I love your Good Karma note. I have been one to get 10 of each brand (planning lunches for me and dinner with friend/family). What ARE we going to do?? What if I buy it by the case TJ? Then, then will you offer it?

Please write to TraderJoes.com and request them to reconsider the discontinuation of this product. I literally lived off this stuff.
