Five Layer Fiesta Dip

Five Layer Fiesta Dip
This dip has black bean dip, salsa, sour cream, cheddar cheese and guacamole. The salsa is very tomato-ey. The dip tastes just like you think it would with all those flavors. It's pretty good but not a regular buy for me. One way this dip could be improved is to work on the cheese which really clumps and falls off chips as soon as it goes on. Also, there is no amazing flavor to it. It's good, but not oh-my-gosh-Trader-Joes-delicious. What I would like to do in the future is make nachos with some cheese and ground beef or refried beans and use this as a topping. Now I think that would be yummy.

I liked it but thought the onion was a bit too overpowering in the salsa part of it.

I have to agree with another comment that the salsa layer was too watery and it made the product look like it went bad. I won't be buying it again. Not the usual TJ's quality that I have come to expect.
and I was very disappointed. I didn't like the taste and neither did most of my guests. My cousin loved it but he eats almost anything. The only thing I have purchased from TJs that I really didn't like.
The black bean/cilantro flavor overwhelmed everything else, and the dip was watery...

If you are super-lazy I suppose this is justified. It was pretty bland though, so I suggest buying the ingredients separately and doctoring it up with some spices. This pre-made version just did not taste very fresh.

Well, I'm not running to the fridge to get more...it was...eh...
Taco nights were made so much easier with this product! Now my tacos are SUPREME tacos with a dollop of this "dip" on top on my meat. Although the product says dip - I never used it as a dip. Only as a delicious, fast and convenient topping to my tacos!
