This was my introduction to chai, and I must say I'm hooked. This is a very flavorful, easy to make drink. I will definitely buy it again.

Yuk! This to me tastes like melted candles. I'm very disappointed that they don't sell the other powdered chai tea anymore, the one that was in a red canister. It tasted so much better. I guess I was the only one that thought so because it looks like they discontinued it.

Trader Joe's in Elk Grove is no longer carrying Tradewinds Chai (Spiced) and it is my favorite drink. Where else can you buy this? Help!

I was very upset tonight as I just found out my favorite tea, Tradewinds Chai, has been discontinued by Trader Joes.

I agree that this is the best Chai I've had. But since there's no denying that it's not available anymore, I decided to try Trader Joe's Spicy Chai Latte. I just made my first mug and it's not exactly the same, but fairly similar. I think it's a bit sweeter than Tradewinds, but it's pretty good considering we can't get the original. I like to add a little bit of milk or cream, too. Enjoy!

I found out today that Trader Joe's has discontinued the Tradewinds spiced Chai. I don't know where else to find a product that tastes like this as I searched many stores before I found this one. I have been drinking this Chai for many years and would like Trader Joe's to re-think this decision to discontinue Tradewinds spiced Chai.

I have won over about 20 converts to this Chai tea... with all the popularity oif this tea why has Elk Grove stopped carrying this brand - none as good - could not get explanation in the store itself!

The "new" TJ chai is actually Tradewinds Chai. I learned this when I contacted TJ about discontinuing their previous chai. They did not indicate why they changed supplier, only that Tradewinds would now supply under the TJ label. If anyone knows who made the previous chai, I would love you forever!

I have enjoyed the tradewinds chai latte (brand) for one whole year. I went to my local trader joes to asked what happen to that brand and guess what!. they told me that the discontinued it and replaced it with there own store brand, not good because it doesnt come close to the tradewinds brand. however it would be nice if trader joes consider "back by popular damand" the tradewinds brand thanks. abuhudhayfah

I also love Tradewinds Chai and have been drinking it for years. While some would say the TJ brand is identical, I have to disagree. It tastes nothing like the original.
I'm guessing Trader's makes more money off their own product, which I understand from a business standpoint, but from a customer service standpoint, selling a less superior product isn't a good way to keep your loyal customers. It's a shame!

if so many of us have taken the time to post our disappointment that the chai tea is gone, think how many others are disappointed as well. TJS help us!

Trader Joe's should restore this wonderful TW Chai Tea. If they will not, we should be provided with the information necessary to purchase it elsewhere.

This was also my introduction to chai and I got hooked. Was very disappointed when the stopped selling the Tradewinds brand but the Trader Joe's spiced chai is just as good

I spoke with a representative of the Tradewinds company and was told they only made this chai for Trader Joe's and when Trader Joe's stopped ordering this chai, they quit making it. I was disappointed also.
