Quinoa Duo(9 votes) For those who like Quinoa, but do not like the hassle of having to rinse and cook it, this product is great! The spices and diced sweet potatoes/zucchini make this a very flavorful Quinoa. It tastes like an indian-inspired dish, as I could swear that I smell & taste curry (although it is not specifically listed in the ingredients). I bought a bag of the Quinoa Duo, and thought the flavor was great, although the texture was a little gritty. The next day while eating the reheated leftovers, I bit down on a chunk of glass.
The bag I bought was obviously part of a defective batch, so I can't really rate it fairly. Even though that was one-in-a-million (I hope) I just can't bring myself to try it again! Too painful! |
