Nouveau Shaw Sangria
(0 vote)Rate this listing
1/2 cup Charles Shaw Nouveau Valdiguie red wine (chilled)
1/4 cup Ponti sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. Raynal vsop brandy (add more or less to taste)
1 slice fresh orange to garnish, cut crosswise
juice from 1/2 a fresh orange
1/2 cup ice
Mix all the ingredients together, add more vermouth to make it sweeter. The crucial ingredient is the Valdiguie, it's light and fruity. The vermouth adds a spiced character and sweetness that you don't get with most sangrias. Simple, but guaranteed to please!
