Rice and Bean Chips with Adzuki Beans
Had to try them and glad I did. Although not light by definition because each serving has 7 grams of fat (and I tell you this because these chips can become addictive!) they taste very light and crispy to me. They are just different - with a hint of cumin and red chile, they are truly creative rice and bean chips. These are great for entertaining -- "ooohhh... what are these???" as well as paired with a sandwich for lunch.

Wish they came in a bigger bag - but I guess I'd eat more. These have just the right amount of flavor. The crunch is unique!
I was thrilled when I discovered these chips. A perfect foil for guacamole, black bean dip, and seven layer dip. BUT, I have not seen them at my TJs in weeks! I hope they come back.

Too bad TJ's always discontinues the best items in the store. If you want to find these chips check out Natures (OR) and ask Whole Foods for Boulder Canyon Natural Foods, Rice and Bean Chips w/Adzuki beans. Exact same product in blue and tan bag but the name of the chips is in the exact same font as the TJ's version. Was told last night that the R&B chips were being replaced by "Lentil Chips w/Sea Salt & Black Pepper" DON'T WASTE your money. They are horrible, taste like rice cakes w/too much pepper. Get a grip TJ's quit dumping the good stuff!
