Sesame Soba Noodles with Asian Vegetables
Hmmmm...can't quite figure this out. On a positive note, it only takes 3 minutes to microwave - decent nutritional info (3.5 fat, 8 grams protein, about 20% of your sodium). Interesting shredded vegetables and scrambled-egg-looking tofu pieces/slices. When I opened the container after cooking - I experienced an overwhelming aroma of Italian salad dressing. Yeah - I know...weird. I guess it's really just the vinegar that is used in the sauce - but it's too strong, in my opinion. I thought I'd get a great, sesame-flavored soba noodle dish - instead it was very "viniagrette based". Decent - but not what I expected. Such a distinct flavor that it will probably not make my "buy again" list.

I bought this a few weeks ago also. I warmed it up, and I too did not like it one bit. It went into the garbage after 2 bites. I thought it would be different. I was quite shocked, because I like a lot of the TJ frozen foods.

I usually eat this for dinner over some green beans, occasionally with a little scrambled egg. It does have a "different" taste but to me it's more of a sweet taste than vinegar or dressing. Plus, it's a very reasonable amount of calories and pretty nutritious for a frozen dish.

Totally disappointed in this! There is nothing to taste except for a nasty vinegar flavor. I was so excited about this too, I love soba nooodles....

I didn't care for this at all. I'll never buy it again. Sounded good, though.

Otu of all of the asian inspired "bowls" my TJ's sells, this one is by far the best. I think it's more of a sweet tangy flavor that comes from the buckwheat noodles that might turn some others off. It's also quite garlicky. It's a great lunch with a relatively low calorie load....but, they stopped selling it at my TJ's! so sad.
