Space Silica Cat Litter

Space Silica Cat Litter
This lightweight litter is affordable and very effective. It does not clump like clay litter, but rather the silica crystals absorb to pee. You have to scoop out solid waste though and then stir around the litter to redistribute the crystals.

It does a good job absorbing pee smells and it lasts for about a month per cat. The best thing to me is that it does not stick to paws like the clay litter was. I was going NUTS with the litter my cat was tracking around his box. This stuff tracks WAY LESS and is MUCH EASIER to clean up since the silica particles are larger than clay.

It's kind of loud when the cat steps in it and has a different texture from clay. My cat took to Space immediately, but some cats might need a bit of time to adjust (like mix Space in with clay litter and gradually reduce the amount of clay litter.)

This is the BEST cat litter and I'm upset that I can no longer get it in my Trader Joes... :-(

I've been to two different TJ's locations in the last week seeking my Space litter only to horrifyingly discover that it has been discontinued! To my knowledge it was a very popular product and it is the only litter I've used for my cat (4 years). What am I going to do? I realize that other brands make crystal litters, but you know how cats are...not to mention the other brands are double the cost. HELP!!!

Somebody at TJ please please listen. You HAVE TO BRING BACK SPACE CAT LITTER! It works great, and all the cat owners are going bonkers because you pulled it. It is not fair that the dogs are getting all the attention! Please bring the SPACE litter back, that is the one thing my cat consistently uses, and not to mention as cat owners, we love it. Bring it back!

Here is the scoop: Kygen out of Huntington Beach, CA, the manufacturer, made it exclusively for TJs. When TJs discontinued selling Space, Kygen stopped production. Call TJ Customer Service at 626-599-3700x3035 to bring it back!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back Space cat litter--it's by far the best of the 10 or so cat litter variations we've tried--and above all it is actually reasonably priced!

Please bring it back--maybe you can work with the manufacturer to get the supply chain up to speed?!

Thanks for listening.
I just spoke to a very pleasant woman in Customer Relations named Tiffany who I reached at 626-599-3700x3035.

I told her how much my family relied on 'Space' and she said she'd bring it up with the buyers.

If you feel as I do that Trader Joe's should resume stocking this great product as soon as possible, please make your voice heard as well...
My cat has used Space ever since I found it at Trader Joe's, it is not highly scented like many other litters are. Space is not just a convenience, it is a necessity, since I live in my motorhome with my cat. She makes it very clear that she does not want to use any scented litter, and all of the scented litters make me quite ill when used in the motorhome. All of the other Silica crystal litters that I have found since I could not get Space are highly scented and totaly unacceptable to both me and my cat. I am beside myself until I can get my Space back and so is my cat.

Best regards
