Valrhona Noir Amer 71%(9 votes) This is about as intense as chocolate gets while remaining edible. Compared to the other chocolate bars in the 70% range, such as Villiars and Scharffen Berger, the Valrhona has more intensity. Not as smooth as the Villars, but more of a punch. The Valrhona also hits you immediately, while the Scharffen Berger creeps up on you.

This is great stuff and TJ's has the best price. I buy a couple/few bars at a time and keep some at work and some at home. It's great in the middle of the day when you need a little pick me up or in the evening with a glass of red wine. So intense that all you need is a square or two and you're good to go.
