Cabernet Pot Roast
What a perfect star of a Sunday dinner, or tossed in a slow cooker to greet you on a weekday evening. This pot roast (which can be found in the fresh meat section) is simple to prepare and delicious. Just brown it in a bit of oil before putting it in the slow cooker with 1/2 cup of water and let it cook for about 9 hours on low/6 hours on high. It can also be cooked in the oven. It comes out with a perfect pot roast texture.

This has been the best thing I've cooked in the slow cooker yet! 6 hours on High and another on Low (we werent quite ready to eat yet), it was incredibly tender and delicious. I strongly recommend this item.

I prepared this in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots. It made a wonderful Sunday dinner!
