Chickenless Nuggets

Breaded, nugget shaped, chicken flavored soy not to be confused with TJs soy nuggets. These are slighly smaller with more calories per 4 nugget serving (130 vs 120). They however taste amazing! A little too soft when microwaved, when cooked in the toaster oven get a crisp outside and nicely textured middle. Don't taste like chicken really, but perfect blend of flavors and very healthy with lots of protein and fiber.

i bought them because of the packaging and the cheapness. i'm a vegetarian so i have pretty low standards when it comes to faux meats, but this was pretty bad (in comparison to the other fake nuggets i've tried). i mean i WILL finish the box, but i won't buy them again.

might taste good if you ate it like a chik'n patty. this needs to be camouflaged a little with other foods.

all in all it was decent. slight after taste, though.

I was hoping for this to be staple food in my house to replacle morningstar farms brand. I thought these were truly disgusting, and I am a regular consumer of faux meat. The were very oily after heating in the oven and just tasted flat out bad. It's the only time I've thought about taking Trader Joe's up on their satisfaction guaranteed thing but I just threw out the rest of the box instead.

I knew these wouldnt taste as good as chicken, but I still expected better. The texture was like chicken nuggets and they looked great out of the oven, but they had a very unpleasant aftertaste, and seemed oilier than real chicken nuggets.I think I`ll stick with my beloved drumettes.
