Gnocchi alla Sorrentina
I love gnocchi, but was hesitant to try frozen ones, but I had a craving during my lunch break and bought these. It was fantastic! There is a yummy tomato basil sauce with little bits of mozarella in it that goes perfectly with the "pillowy" gnocchi. I've had other kinds of frozen gnocchi and it's usually much too dense, but these were perfect.

I saute some chicken chunks in garlic oil, take them out of the pan or wok, put in the gnocchi and sauce and cook according directions (fast and easy); when it's done (just a few minutes) throw in a handful of frozen peas and return the chicken to the pan; mix it all up, grate some cheese on top and you have a fast and delicious one-dish meal.

Just tried these last week; they're the best storebought Gnocchi I've ever had. The texture was delicate, and the flavor was incredible. No sauce needed for these. If you want a topping, add a little TJ's olive oil and a bit of fresh grated parmesan. I'll be trying tvoz's recipe above soon. Sounds great!

It's bad to shop at TJ's when you're hungry. These just about leaped out of the freezer into my cart and I'm glad they did. The checkout clerk said they were her favorite and now they're mine! WOW! In less than 10 minutes I had a delicious lunch and now I'm addicted! These are GOOD - REALLY Good!

A fast and tasty meal, but it's one of those products that make me doubt the calorie count on the label. 551 calories for a lb of gnocchi, sauce and cheese just seems a bit low.

fresh basil. Once you've finished cooking, finish off with some shaved parmesan and cracked black pepper. I'm interested in trying the chicken + peas with it but for now, I'll stick with the simple version :)

I made this in the microwave in a casserole dish and served sauteed spinach as a side dish.

I LOVE the texture of this, and I think there's just the right amount of sauce. Some parmesan cheese on top is good. I think one bag is about the right amount for one person.

I am eating this right now for lunch and it is heavenly! Doesn't feel very rich or heavy, sauce has a lot of flavor and the gnocchi are fabulous. And it is actually low-fat. Def a new favorite!

This gnocchi makes a scrumptious and perfectly filling dinner for one. I always keep at least one bag of this in the freezer.
Jut it in a frying pan over medium heat and stir occasionally, and it's ready in just 7 minutes. The texture of the gnocchi is just right and the tomato-y sauce is delicious.
Paired with baby leaf romaine, it's perfection.

I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of this Gnocchi. I am a picky eater, especially when it comes to Italian food. A quick and easy dish to have with a salad, or serve as a side dish. The nutrition label is what really surprised me. Low in fat and calories. Perfect combo. Thanks Trader Joes!

I've been eating this gnocchi for years. Back in 2004 when I went to Italy, I was actually disappointed when I ordered gnocchi in a nice restaurant--the TJ frozen stuff tasted better!!
