Hangover Joes Buffalo Burger

Got a hangover? Need a great brunch item sure to satisfy the burger lover, the egg lover, and just the savory yummy flavor lover? Here you go! Hangover Joe’s Buffalo Burger (1-2 servings each, depends on how hungry you are!) Served “open face”. 1 patty of Trader Joe’s buffalo burger (has portobello mushrooms & white chedder INSIDE) 1 piece of Trader Joe’s sprouted grain bread (any style wheat) 2 slices of Trader Joe’s uncured apple bacon 1 tbsp Trader Joe’s mayonnaise 1 tsp Trader Joe’s brown spicy mustard (so glad you have this now yay!!!) 1 extra large brown egg (also from Trader’s, but can use any type egg you like) 1 slice of provolone cheese 1/2 tbsp of Trader Joe’s salted butter Other than toasting the bread, this can all be done in one small skillet or frying pan! Cook bacon, allow grease to cool, pour into dish and dispose properly or save for future use, some of the tastiest bacon grease you’ll come across for flavoring savory foods. In same pan, leaving just some of the bacon grease (very little), add 1/2 tbsp butter to pan, med/high heat, cook buffalo burger according to normal instructions (a few min on each side). When you flip burger over, LIGHTLY toast the slice of bread, I used my toaster oven and let it stay in after it was done, better if its nice and dried out so doesn’t absorb yummy food liquids and get soggy. When burger done, set aside, in SAME pan, lower the heat slightly to low/med, cook the egg (this will blend all the lovely flavors together) over medium, or as desired (I like the yolk to run or ooze at least). The second you put the egg in the pan, assemble the dish per below instructions, since the egg only takes about 2 min total. Get a med/small sized plate, put on toast, spread mayo & put dallop of mustard in center, then place 2 slices of bacon, place burger on top, place 1 slice of provolone on burger. Pop in microwave for about 30 sec to warm bread, melt cheese, just make sure everything is nice and hot for serving, (you can even undercook the egg slightly and put it on top and THEN nook for 30 seconds that works too), then place perfectly fried egg on top. Eat and enjoy! Make sure you have a lot of napkins! Better to use a fork than try to pick this bad boy up, this is also a good dish to SHARE because its HUGE, which is why it says serves 1-2. I ate half of mine in one sitting, wrapped in plastic on its plate, nooked the rest for dinner. Best if eaten right away, because when you heat it up, the egg gets more cooked, and the delectable golden goodness in the egg tastes so good when its still oozy. Alternative ingredients: Bacon not for you? Try turkey bacon, or try portobello slices, grilled.
