White Chicken Sesame Noodle Bowl

This is a super quick and tasty lunch. It is 12 ounces of white chicken pieces, noodles, red peppers, sugar snap peas, peas, carrots, bok choy and sesame seeds in a seafood based ginger sauce. We like the fact that the veggies stay relatively crisp after being microwaved, the ingredients are high-quality and the taste is truly wonderful.

I bought this on my very first trip to Trader Joe's and it remains a favorite.

I like most of TJ's frozen lunches, but not this one. I thought it was bland and boring.

Agree with the last comment -- this one is bland. You're better off with the rice bowls.

I could eat this as a lunch every week - it's light and the noodles are better than you'd expect from a frozen meal. The sesame flavored sauce is a big hit at my house. I also agree that the veggies remain relatively un-soggy after being microwaved. I personnally prefer this bowl over the rice bowls.

Husband gave it a thumbs up and told to by this instead of the Lean Cuisine Healthy Choice stuff!!! LOL.

I used to like this more, but as my tastes have changed, I find it a little lacking in spice. However, it's a nice big portion for the price, and more meat/vegetables to starch ratio than most of their other frozen bowl meals. It's good!

I have tried the Indian and the Thai rice bowls and were not that impressed (hardly any meat, mostly sauce etc.) so I was not expecting much from the noodle bowl.

It way exceeded my expectations. It was delicious with lots of chunky pieces of tender white meat, crisp vegetables, perfectly cooked noodles and just the right amount of sauce to compliment without overpowering the dish.

It was very filling ... and the best part ... the nutritional content rivaled that of a "Lean Cuisine"

This is definitely a winner!

While convenient to bring to the office for lunch on a hectic day, I found the noodles were mushy and there was a lack of sauce on the entire dish. Chicken was dry and not enough veggies either....Try the Trader Mings boxes instead....a little more fat but A LOT more flavor and prefect texture.

nice quality white meat chicken with a tasty flavor. it's just perfect for a work lunch. i've noticed that the ratios aren't always the same. Sometimes it's great and other times there's not enough sauce to really flavor the noodles, which brings down the yummy. But overall, I'd recommend this product - it's quick, healthy and tasty.

It's not terrible but just really really bland. No flavor at all.

Pretty dull flavor-wise. The chicken has an odd, tough kind of texture. I wouldn't bring this for lunch again.

The price is right, but it's too bland without adding hot sauce or something else, and I think that the peas overwhelm the rest of it.

good for dieters

It just isn't as good as it used to be. The chicken quality isn't as good and the flavor is entirely underwhelming. I used to really like this one, but wouldn't recommend it anymore.

I wish there were a little bit more sauce but otherwise this is great - comfort food w/o the high calorie count.

The chicken in this meal definately beats out most frozen chicken I've tasted. I'm usually a Lean Cuisine type and end up not eating most of their "chicken". It was also pretty large for the calories!

It's a good staple to have in the freezer, but I'd reach for other things if they're around most days. The flavor is fine, as is the balance of ingredients, but I agree with others that it would benefit from more sauce and a little more zip.

The dish isn’t bad. It just really doesn’t have any flavor. And the noodles are soggy. I’ll give it a 5 out of 10 overall score.
