Madras Lentils
This is currently my favorite Trader Joe's product. I love heating these up for a quick and super tasty lunch. Trader Joe's sells other varieties of boxed Indian meals, but this one is my favorite by far. I like to eat it alone, but it is also good over a bed of jasmine rice.

This is pretty good, I agree (try it with the frozen nan bread), but tonight I had the Palak Paneer and thought it was the best!
I had half of it with a half a cup of Trader's brown rice and it was Heaven!
The sodium content is outrageous, like most processed foods, but half a pack a day is worth it!
The "Indian Fare" product line is the best. So easy, just pop in the microwave and serve with some rice and naan. I am addicted to all of them.
needless to say some of the lines are spicy, but for a mild well rounded taste this is it, try it with a dollop of greek yougart and toasted soy pita bread, yum!

It's just spicy and flavorful enough to mix with an equal amount of cooked lentils and some chicken sausage for an excellent stew.

We love the Indian curries in a packet. We live in Alaska where there sadly aren't any Trader Joe's (please put one in Fairbanks!), but whenever I go to Washington to visit family, I buy at least one of every flavor of these Indian meals. They've all tasted great, Madras Lentil, Punjab Eggplant and Palak Paneer are my favorites. We eat them with rice. They're so much better than any other packaged foods and have inspired me to try cooking Indian food when I have the time for it.

This (along with all the varieties) are a once a week staple for us. It's a really healthy meal when paired with brown rice. Too add interest, serve it with plain yogurt and mint chutney (not sold at TJ's).
My house is rarely locked and recently someone stole my noodles right off my kitchen table - they left all my other stuff.
Which one of you tweakers did it??

I love this and all the other Indian foods they sell. I eat with the harvest blend or just with plain rice. oh yeah and the naan from the freezer. Faster and cheaper than take out.
