August 2009 Recipe Challenge Winners

We are happy to annouce the three winners of our August 2009 Recipe Challenge. Again and again, y'all submit creative, delicious and more often than not quick and easy recipes. Thanks!

Da' bomb Banana Bomb Oh so good. Bananas, chocolate and tortilla wraps. Who would've thunk? You can also substitute white chocolate. Thanks lizap.

Black Bean Carnitas Stew. We already love the Carnitas and Cuban Style Black Beans but what a spread this makes! Note, the carnitas stay good in the fridge for longer than you'd think. Definitely something to stock when you know you will eat them in the next weeks, but aren't quite sure exactly when. Thank you to CCukurs, our winner!

Scallops with Curried Pasta. Scallops and Trader Joe's Red Curry Sauce make a great pair! This recipe is also incredibly flexible as you can substitute the pasta and veggie mixes to suit your preferences. Well done ogeaki.
