I eat it with the brown rice also. Or should I say ATE. My TJs tells me it has been discontinued (though one of the posts in this thread indicates otherwise).
Anyway, in the event that the product reappears, or that you still have some boxes hoarded as I do, I suggest addressing the microwave-induced explosions as folows:
1. Put the rice on top of the tuna. This makes a huge difference. If you do get a pop, it will be much less explosive.
2. Cover the container just to make sure. Wax paper works. Even a paper towel or napkin will help.
