Open a TJ in Prescott Arizona - 2006/06/05 19:46
Reasons why to open a Trader Joes in Prescott, AZ in 2007.
1) Popluation of nearly 100,000 estimated in 2006 within 10 miles of Prescott airport.

2) Distributiton route is between Phoenix and Las Vegas - two large Trader Joe cities
3) Many residents retiring in Prescott are moving from cities in CA and AZ where there are currently multiple Trader Joes and are in depression without one
4) Prescott is "Everybody's Hometown" and would be even better with a Trader Joe's since more people would move there after a TJs opened.
5) Like Trader Joes, In and Out is privately owned and is proud of it's quality. In and Out which is selective about new locations opened in Prescott a few year's ago
6) Closest Trader Joe's is in Phoenix. WIth gas at $3 per gallon, thousands are wasting natural energy driving back and forth from Prescott. This waste of resources is contributing to global warming!
7) Prescott AZ and Santa Fe, NM are both great mountain communities. If Santa Fe has the right demographic mix, then Prescott would do even better.
8) Prescott already has two Wal-Marts. It would be cool to open a Trader Joes before a third Wal-Mart opens
