 Pittsburgh, PA - 2006/02/06 20:06 Please open a store in Pittsburgh, PA. The nearest TJ's is in Cleveland, OH (a 3 hour drive!) We go once a month (it's better than no TJ's at all ;-) but we'd really, really love to have one closer to home so we could shop there every week!

 Re:Pittsburgh, PA - 2006/03/01 00:20 Great news! I visited the store in Woodmere (Cleveland) earlier today and several employees told me that Trader Joe's will open this August in Shadyside, near Whole Foods. Hooray!

 Re:Pittsburgh, PA - 2006/03/22 16:10 That last person posting about an upcoming store in Shadyside better not be toying with my emotions. When my wife and I were deciding between moving to Pittsburgh and Ann Arbor, MI, the only major con against Pittsburgh was that they had no Trader Joes. (Ann Arbor had just gotten one, throwing our decision-making process for a loop.) Personally, I think Trader Joes would fit in better at Murray Ave and Forbes in Squirrel Hill, but I'm not complaining. I'll believe it when I see it on the official site.
