 TJ Cookbook - 2006/07/07 17:52 Has Trader Joe's ever considered compiling all their recipes into a cookbook - I think the customers would love it! Also, it would be a great way to help people incorporate new TJ ingredients into their diets - I often see products on the shelves I'm curious about, but unsure how to use them. Just a thought!

 Re:TJ Cookbook - 2006/08/23 20:22 I think the big problem with that is that the product line changes so often, ot'd be hard to compile something like that.

If you want to know how to use a new product you see on the shelves, take it to the demo folks. They usually have some great ideas even on products they don't know yet.

As you can see, we added a poll to get an idea for how many people would be interested.

What sort of things would you like to see?

Ideas:

-recipes for using the more basic ingredients (quinoa, sweet rice flour)
-quick/demo-type recipes
-whole meal ideas using various products
-entertaining section (appetizers/parties)
-meals for kids
-dietary restrictions: gluten-free, low sodium etc

 Re:TJ Cookbook - 2006/09/01 17:57 It might be neat to collect the demo recipes and ones from this site, and organize them by country of origin and type of dish (appetizer, entree, side dish, dessert, etc.). Each section can focus on either Indian, Mexican, Asian or good old fashioned American-inspired dishes. I think this format would highlight/feature TJ products very well, especially since there seems to be a very "global" feel when you browse the aisles in the store. Just a thought! Pictures would be a must as well - no cookbook is complete without pictures.
