Hello:
I was on Rt 2 (Bald Hill Rd) on Saturday afternoon.
Heading south about .8 of a mile on the left I spotted a huge "Trader Joe's" sign at the top of a bunch of signs. I pulled into the the plaza, and straight in front of me was a Trader Joe's. I drove up and and found a store in the process of being built out. I did not get out of my car but did a slow drive-by. I wasn't alone. There was a young lady doing the same thing!
Providence Journal article I read here on this forum mentioned an October opening date!
I'm attaching here a GoogleEarth kmz file of the exact location of this TJs. If you have GE on your PC, Download it, double click it and it will open right up on the Warwick Trader Joe's.
Here's my observation on Bald Hill Road. This is a road to be avoided at all costs. The traffic is horrendous! There's too many people trying to go too many places, with helmet-less motorcyclists weaving in and out of traffic!!! If you're coming from, MA go north to Framingham or Needham. I found it took just as long to go from the Attleboros to Bald Hill Rd, as it did to go from Bald Hill Rd to Trader Joe's. Will I go to TJ's Warwick when it opens? Yes as a test. Will see if saving 10 miles vs Framingham is really worth it.

O.K. so I can't attach a kmz file. Just search for 1000 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick RI. It's the largest bldg in the plaza(E. side of Rt 2) against the trees.
