Working PT at TJ's - 2007/10/29 22:26 Anyone work here already?
I've been trying for months at the closest store to me in Cleveland OH metro (Woodmere, about 9 miles away)... It's the only job I have interest in working right now. I'm such an addict I'd do anything for a job at Trader Joe's.
I've been calling every week or every other to check in on openings. After debating for a while if I'd drive 23 miles to the next closest store (Westlake), I finally went and applied there too.
I was there yesterday and I asked for my application to update it and they couldn't find it. I'm just going to fill out a new one and bring in my resume (even though a resume supposedly won't make a difference for a PT crew member position).
Any crew members have any suggestions about trying to get an interview or experiences to share?

Re:Working PT at TJ's - 2007/10/31 00:59 Ruby, keep trying and be happy and enthusiastic. TJ's will be hiring extra help for the holiday season. It is good to see you follow up.

Re:Working PT at TJ's - 2007/10/31 05:41 I worked part time for TJ's for 4 years. Just keep bugging them, and I don't know how much your resume will really help you.

Re:Working PT at TJ's - 2007/11/05 06:25 I worked for TJ's for 14 years Full Time as a Manager and i must say i am glad it is over. As a part time employee you will experience a great deal of frustration because of the lack of leadership skills from full time employees.

Re:Working PT at TJ's - 2007/11/08 19:27 As I said before, I worked part time for 4 years, I have now been full time for a year now. I partially agree with the comment above. Some full timers do not have the leadership skills they should. But this is not the case with all full timers, because leadership is not taught it is learned.
