Ballard, WA
Larkspur, CA
Redding, CA
Santa Maria, CA

In other store opening news, the new store in St Paul, Minnesota will open in June.

I have 11 stores listed here and were in the news to open. I have other stores in my database that are tentatively opening and not listed in this website. In this recessionary time, nothing is certain until a date for opening is shown on TJ's website. TJ's itself is doing fine financially, but the developers building the stores may not be doing well.

 Re:2009 Store Openings - 2009/01/08 18:54 Newberry Park, California will be getting a new Trader Joe's store. It will be located in an old Albertson store on Borchard and Reino roads.

The Carlsbad, California starts hiring crew members starting January 8. So it should be opening soon.

Also hiring new crew is a new store in Hollywood, California on Sunset Blvd. This is a second store in the city.

Notice of Alcohol Sales sign with Trader Joes name is up though. Construction workers said they would be done in late March / early April with building improvements / rebuild although they didn't know how fast Trader Joes will move in and be up and running.
