Carlsbad, CA store opened on February 16 as scheduled.

I have not heard of any near-term plan for new store in Texas.

 Re:2009 Store Openings - 2009/03/03 02:54 Six (6) new stores have been added to the Trader Joe's website Coming Soon list.

The 6 stores will be located in Los Angeles, CA (Sunset), Aliso Viejo, CA, Huntington Harbor, CA, Newbury Park, CA, Olympia, WA, and Virginia Beach, CA. Aliso Viejo and Huntington Harbor stores have not been mentioned on this thread. I saw them as rumors, and now they are official.

Los Angeles store on Sunset Blvd will open March 13. Previously, I have mentioned that Ballard, CA store will open March 6.

Ballard, Washington store opened to much fanfare March 6.
