Re:From the mouth of a TJ's employee - 2008/03/01 02:43
I just recently had my first experience shopping at Trader Joe's...and I can guarantee the person who wrote this is NOT an employee of the location where I shopped.
Every employee I saw and spoke with was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. While I agree there are many items I can find locally (I drove 45 minutes to get to my nearest Trader Joe's) I'd be going to twelve different stores to get them. Also, I did stick with purchasing the "unique" items-not things like milk and eggs. I got 100 bucks worth of food, and out of all the fun, different choices I made, my husband and I didn't care for only one item (dried rambutan.) Also found a few things that, alone, would have been worth the trip.
Awesome selection, GREAT prices, and really...a terrific staff of people who seemed to enjoy being there. The writer of that review really needs to get a life.
