Orange Passion Energy Drinks Disco'ed - 2008/06/15 23:58
I've occasionally lurked on these forums, but this product being discontinued forced me to join. Am I the only one who liked these? They were the best energy drink around and actually tasted good. I'd usually buy at least 8 on my weekly trip to TJs. I went in a couple of weeks ago to find out they were disco'ed. First thing I did when I got home was start calling my local TJs to find out if any still had some in stock. After going through 10 stores, I found a couple of cases ... 60 miles away. This was on a Wednesday. The person I spoke to was nice enough to pull the two open cases off the shelf and hold them for me until Saturday. Thanks to him I scored some. But boo on Trader Joe's for discontinuing it in the first place.
Sure enough, they decided to keep the nasty tasting berry flavor. I send them an email and of course I got their standard response back. We're sorry ... blah blah blah.
