 South Lake Tahoe, CA - 2006/06/13 06:16 Per one of the managers at Long's Drug Store (in the old Outdoorsman building on Lake Tahoe Blvd.), Long's is moving from that location to the vacated Office Depot store on Emerald Bay Road by the Y. However, Long's has a long term lease on the old Outdoorsman building, and per the Long's staff member, Long's will be subleasing that building to Trader Joe's. Hope this is true!

It's not Trader Joe's that's going to occupy the old Outdoorsman building in South Lake Tahoe that will be subleased by Long's Drug Store to another entity. Big 5 Sporting Goods is apparently going to sublease that building from Long's. TJ's is opening a new store instead down in Carson City, Nevada...25 miles away.. at the Wal Mart Superstore shopping center at Hwy 395 and Topsy Lane.

 Carson City, NV - 2006/10/25 20:03 TJ's will be open a store in Carson City, NV, as steve96158 said. Job postings started October 16, so opening should be within a couple months of that date.
