Guilford CT and the surrounding Shoreline Communities need a Trader Joe's store - no two ways about it.
This fertile area is filled with high-income, well-funded, but smart and careful shoppers with a nose for quality, an eye for value, and a heart for healthfulness. Did you get the high-income part?
I-95 and Route 1 help to make up for the lower-than-urban population density (the Long Island Sound kills our count). Besides, you will capture an extremely high number of area residents. Gas prices are going to take us out the practice of road-tripping to the Orange store.
TJ's, please don't avoid this area just because you can't sell wine. PS, we hear you've been sniffing around...
