CAT FOOD [ALERT???] - 2008/09/21 22:18
I've been visiting TJs from the time they opened in Pasadena (CA) years ago! 'couldn't do without it!
Just as *I* want 'good stuff' to eat...same's for my cats (companions/little people). About a year ago, I started getting TJ Cat Food. The cats were only moderately-thrilled, but ate it, and it smelled kind of funny (not ha-ha, but peciliar!) to me, too.
Lately, the cats are pretty upset (p.o.'d at me, as well as their tummies), and someone said the cat food smells: "..like feces and rotting flesh." I still set the food out, but now they're trying to COVER IT UP...like they do their sandbox!
Now..I'm sure TJs has a contract packer who supplies pet food. I would STRONGLY SUGGEST they (TJs) do a thurough inspection/QUALITY ASSESSMENT of exactly what's being canned with their label.
I wrote an email to them some time ago, but maybe they don't reply to complaints...I don't know.
Anyone else having a problem?...or is it just ME?
All-the-best...
