shipping TJ's products - 2006/06/22 22:17 I figured this should go under the "Request a store in your town" topic because you would be the people most interested in this! Hi, I'm Sandy and I work at a TJ's in California! I'm more than familiar with the longing for a TJ's in all areas of the US as we get people in our store on a daily basis asking when we'll be opening a store in their small town. Unfortunately, the answer is "no time soon". So, aside from people having to travel 200 miles to pick up their favorite TJ's products, or sending letters to the offices in Monrovia requesting that TJ's ship their beloved products, I came up with a solution. I'm a college student always in need of a little extra cash. All product requests can be sent directly to me, I can purchase and ship them to you. Tell me what you guys think.

Re:shipping TJ's products - 2006/09/23 01:06 Sorry, but I don't think this would work. Eventually someone you shipped something to is going to have a customer problem, and that would leave you "stuck in the middle", trying to do right by both your customer and your company.

Why can't TJ's sell directly to us, via a mail-order department? For instance, the Garlic and three-cheese potato chips are so tasty and popular, my wife and I buy a dozen bags (or more!) at a time, since the TJ's nearest to us is an hour+ away. We would much rather simply order a case, direct from TJ's, and not have to worry about shipping, insurance, payment, etc.

Re:shipping TJ's products - 2006/11/05 01:49 Exactly what I've been looking for.
We're in Hawaii and don't get out to California too often but would love to order TJ products. Cheapest shipping would just be plain USPS as long as we don't order any perishables, that's fine :-)

Re:shipping TJ's products - 2008/06/06 21:02 Or, you can do what I do! Take a shopping list from all of my local friends with me. Whenever anyone hears that a trip is planned, the lists start pouring in! It makes for a bulky ride home though!
