 Re:TJ's Coming to Atlanta, GA - 2006/10/22 03:51 This was a big day for Trader Joe's...Georgia and Wisconsin bring the total number of states with stores to 22. It also marks the first time ever that there have been more stores outside California than in California. By my count, CA has 129, and the other 21 states have 129. Add the one in DC for 130, and it's no longer a mostly-California chain.

The Midtown store that was original slated to open in late September or early October is now listed on Trader Joe's website. Remember when it was listed on the website in October and then pulled off? The store had trouble with liquor license. Apparently the problem has been cleared up or TJ decided to go ahead without the license.

 Re:TJ's Coming to Atlanta, GA - 2006/12/12 04:22 Oh and we're the last store opening in 2006 in the country. As you may know GA has tons of crazy laws so it takes a lot longer than normal...Their shooting for February in the Midtown Location.
